When deleting a block, a small animation might improve the experience. Currently, the deletion is so fast that you don’t realize where it happened.
With a simple Edit action at the top, you could: * drag blocks around to re-order * delete multiple blocks * merge selected blocks etc.
Images with alt text could have a small indicator, like in Mona for Mastodon, so that you don’t need to long press to see if there is text and even read the text with a simple tap.
Tapping an image could open the full screen, preview, similar to Messages.
Swipe to reveal Edit/Delete actions on the post might be easier or more familiar than long pressing.
For markdown, you could perhaps add a convenient bar above the keyboard. Many MD apps have this kind of functionality.
It is also not clear after I published a post, and then edited it again, when/how the update will be published.
I managed to force the update with Unpublish/Publish dance.
